NAMÄN is a Glasgow based DJ and producer working through the raw emotional charge of rave music, where euphoria, pressure and release sit close together.
Their sound draws from the rougher edges of 90s house, techno, trance, hardgroove, acid, breaks and early rave, with sets often moving between rolling percussion, rumbling bass and tracks built to keep bodies moving.
Rather than staying tied to one style, NAMÄN builds through contrast: deep but direct, playful but intense, loose enough to breathe while keeping the floor firmly in motion.

A familiar presence in the city’s underground, NAMÄN previously held a residency at The Berkeley Suite and has played across venues including La Cheetah, The Art School, SWG3, Exit and Umbra in New York. They have supported the likes of KAVARI, Holly Warcup, Miss Cabbage, Eclair Fifi and BAKE to name a few.

Their release Romance on KIN-TU received support from Mixmag and was featured in Resident Advisor’s Tracks of the Week, marking a clear step in their work as both producer and DJ.

Friday, June 5, 11:00pm
KIN-TU is an independent label, events collective and mix series based in Glasgow, built around connection, community and artist development.

The name draws from Kintu, a figure within the creation story of the Buganda people of Uganda, while also carrying the ideas of kinship, gathering and connection.

Working across releases, club nights, listening sessions, mixes and artist support, KIN-TU spotlights emerging and underrepresented voices across electronic, club and experimental music. The collective exists to build bridges between Glasgow’s underground and the wider global club community, creating space for artists to connect, develop and be heard.
